P-We-152 Structure-property relationships between fractal description of pore structure and catalyst effectiveness in V-SBA-15

The fractal character (or microporosity) of SBA-15 is controlled prior to grafting vanadia to it, and the VOx-SBA-15 materials are evaluated using partial oxidation of methanol. Results suggest surface roughness or fractal character has an underappreciated effect on catalyst performance.
