The catalytic properties of the niobosilicates were tested in the oxidation reactions with H2O2 using cyclohexene, methyl phenyl sulfide and terpenes as model substrates. The type of matrix, source and localization of niobium are important factors. The catalytic activities of catalysts are due to Nb localization in matrix and/or acidity.
