This communication reports the experimental and thermodynamic equilibrium model investigation of an Integrated Gasification-Chemical looping Combustion process using glucose as a feedstock.  The results show that the gaseous species included in the combustion products are mainly CO2 and water, indicating the viability of an integrated biomass gasification-CLC for CO2 capture.
