This work addresses the formation of Pt nanoparticles on 1D titanate-based support. The nanocatalysts were synthesized by impregnation, ion exchange and addition of a Pt colloidal solution. The use of colloidal solution generated heterogeneous Pt nanoparticles while the other methods led to more dispersed catalysts and preserved the 1D nanostructure.
