Among different LaMO3 (M=Fe, Mn, Co), synthesized by SCS, lanthanum ferrite resulted as an active catalyst towards maleic acid CWAO. In the presence of LaFO3, maleic acid and TOC conversion were respectively increased of about 45% and 30%. Characterization of the recovered catalyst showed that the crystalline structure was preserved.
