Nanoparticles of pure aluminum oxide and homogeneous lanthanum/aluminum mixed metal oxide were prepared by a simple, green one-pot, dry mixing/grinding process.Alumina and lanthanum-doped aluminas prepared by this method have large surface area and tunable pore structures.
