shape- and size- controlled nanoparticles provide a good model to test structure sensitivity of catalytic reactions. 

The CO oxidation was used as a model reaction to investigate catalytic properties of Pd cubes of different sizes. The TOF of 

6-nm Pd cubes was approximately 10 times that of 18-nm Pd cubes.
