P-Mo-82 Bimetallic Pd-M (M=Ru,Bi) catalysts prepared by grafting onto O-groups of functionalized carbon supports

Pd-M/C (M=Ru,Bi) catalysts were prepared by covalent grafting onto functionalized carbon. The Pd/C catalysts prepared by grafting on the most stable functions displayed the best performance in the hydrogenation of 2-methyl-2-nitropropane. For bimetallic samples, heterometallic 3-4 nm nanoparticles were obtained for Pd-Bi, while less homogeneous composition was obtained for Pd-Ru/C.
