P-We-35 Partial oxidation of methane over low percentage supported noble metal catalysts

Selective oxidation of CH4 to synthesis-gas was studied over Pt, Ru, and Pt-Ru catalysts supported on (θ+α)-Al2O3. Optimum conditions for preparation of catalysts and performing of process have been found at millisecond contact times. Reaction is performed by direct mechanism with participation of Pto, Ruo, and Pt-Ru clusters.
