A perovskite-type Ba0.5Sr0.5Co0.8Fe0.2O3-δ (BSCF) membrane was examined as the membrane for a membrane reactor for ethanol oxidative steam reforming. With a same catalyst, the membrane reactor has a longer operation time than the fixed bed reactor.
