P-Mo-152 CO2 Utilization: Direct Carboxylation of Methanol to Dimethyl Carbonate

A series of oxide and mixed oxide catalysts of cerium, zirconium and zinc were prepared by oxalate gel precipitation method and tested in the reaction of methanol and CO2 for direct synthesis of dimethyl carbonate. Influence of pressure, temperature and the influence of water removal were investigated.
