Here we present an extended reaction network for the CoMo/Al2O3 catalyzed hydrodeoxygenation of a large library of mono-aromatic lignin model compounds as well as typical lignin linkages to obtain bulk aromatics. Extensive studies were performed on guaiacol to give detailed insight in the influence of poisons and process parameters.
