A facile synthesis procedure for obtaining amino-modified ordered mesoporous silicas of SBA-16 type was developed. This procedure may be successfully applied for receiving mesoporous materials in the form of powders and free-standing films. Furthermore, synthesized samples are promising catalyst in the Knoevenagel condensation.
