Trimetallic-nickel based alloys were synthesized in order to induce the hydrogen evolution reaction in alkaline media. Preliminary results indicated that the intrinsic properties of the materials (e.g. electro-negativity, solid-solution and phase transformation, among other) are highly modified with temperature promoting different performance during adsorption-desorption of protons at the electrode-electrolyte interface.
