The evaluation of photocatalytic activity of Al2O3-Nd2O3-ZnO in the photodegradation of phenol showed that gama-Al2O3 photoconverts about 75 % of phenol after 6 h of UV irradiation and that the photocatalytic activity is improved in the Al-Nd-Zn-x oxides achieving photoconversions about 100 % after 4 h of UV irradiation.
