O-Th-407-2 Electrochemical Conversion of Carbon Dioxide to Fuels on a Nanoporous Copper/M Catalyst

The electrochemical conversion of CO2 has been studied for many years, and copper is the only metal catalyst found to produce hydrocarbons.  Herein, we report a Cu/M electrocatalyst that has preferential selectivity towards C2 and C3  species such as ethane, ethanol and propanol.
