P-Tu-B-41 Highly Active Au-CeO2@ZrO2 Yolk-Shell Nanoreactors for the Reduction of 4-Nitrophenol to 4-Aminophenol

To the best of our knowledge, decorated Au-CeO2@ZrO2 nanoreactors prepared in this work showed the highest catalytic performance in the 4-nitrophenol reduction compared with nanoreactors in the literature. The analysis of the reaction kinetics revealed that presence of ceria in Au-CeO2@ZrO2 nanoreactors affected significantly condensation step with formation of 4.4-azobiphenol.
