In the present study, the kinetic of hydrogenolysis of N-(4-fluorophenyl)-benzenemethanamine, a compound subject to both debenzylation and deflourination, were investigated in a semi-batch reactor. For Pd-based catalysts on different supports, the effects of various operating parameters were examined to identify factors that influence the selectivity between debenzylation and defluorination pathways.
