This work aims to synthesize hybrid mesoporous molecular sieves of the type CTA-SiO₂ with mesoporous occluded by the CTA⁺ cation (cetyltrimethylammonium). The catalytic activity of this solid was evaluated in the transesterification reaction for future application in biodiesel production.
