P-Tu-B-30 A Model to Predict Maximum Operating Temperatures of Metal-Oxide-Supported 1-n-Butyl-3-Methylimidazolium Based Ionic Liquids

Stability limits of [BMIM]+-based ionic liquids (ILs) immobilized on metal-oxides were determined. Data show that inter-ionic interactions and surface acidity control stability limits. Based on these results a simple model was developed to estimate maximum operating temperatures of metal-oxide-supported ILs with an average-relative-error less than 4.3%.
