Most recently alternative synthesis protocols for the preparation of the heterogeneous Lewis acid Sn-Beta have been proposed. In this talk we show the differences of these new materials compared to the traditional Sn-Beta zeolite applying a broad range of catalyst characterization techniques and correlate the observations to the catalytic activity.
