In the present work, AuPd-based nanoreactors with different loadings of Pd and different shells were synthesized. To the best of our knowledge, it was first shown the presence of two routes for the 4-nitrophenol reduction into 4-aminophenol for free Au nanoparticles, free AuPd nanoparticles and nanoreactors based on these nanoparticles.
