Combined application of Raman characterization and kinetic tests in the annular reactor in the CPO of n-C₈H₁₈ allows to individuate the nature of site active for the fuel activation (O*-O*, O*-*, *-* pairs) as well as the tendency of the fuel to stick on the catalyst surface and form C-species.
