O-F-406-10 Supported Platinum Group Metals for Low Temperature CO Selective Catalytic Reduction

Catalysts consisting of Ir and Ru supported on Al2O3 have been investigated for selective catalytic reduction of NOX using CO as a reductant.  The Ir-Ru/Al2O3 catalyst demonstrates a synergistic improvement in NOX reduction activity, which is attributed to the alloying of Ir and Ru.
