O-Th-403-7 Use of One Dimensional Nanomaterials As Heterogeneous Catalysts: Possibilities and Challenges

The use of nanotechnology to design traditional catalytic systems opens the possibility of a careful tailoring of catalyst electronic structure to achieve desired catalytic performance. Electronic modulation of the vanadium oxide system is achieved trough doping of the support, resulting in an enhanced activity for partial oxidation processes.
