Tuning the Electronic Structure of the VOx/TiO2 Catalytic System

Tailoring the electronic properties of vanadium oxide moieties anchored on well defined titania surfaces opens the possibility of fine tuning catalytic performance. At the same time, experimental and computational evaluation of the promotion mechanisms enable us to get a detailed description of the relevant mechanistic steps of partial oxidation processes.
