High frequency hydrocarbon pulsing into a lean NOx stream over a dual-layer LNT-SCR catalyst can greatly enhance low-T deNOx efficiency and expand the operating conditions of a conventional NOx storage and reduction (NSR) system. It has the potential to help the auto industry to address the low-T emission regulatory challenge.
