The well-defined VOx/CeO2 catalysts were prepared as promising model catalysts for fundamental investigations, specifically atomic-level characterization of active centers, active center and support interactions, and molecular-level understandings of catalytic reaction mechanisms, allowing us to better understand the nature of support effect for the important class of selective oxidation catalysts.
