Pressure is a coordinate of intensification of CPO. Experimental and numerical studies show that it does not increase the severity of the process. Mass transfer limitations of heterogeneous reactions make the hot-spot temperature insensitive to pressure, the onset of homogeneous reactions brings part of the exothermic contribution in the gas.
