Aim of this work is to study the potentiality in the soot oxidation and in the simultaneous removal of soot and NO_x of Ag- and Ru-based catalysts and to compare their activity with that of model Pt-Ba/Al₂O₃ and Pt-K/Al₂O₃ LNT catalysts, according to the DPNR (Diesel Particulate-NO_x Reduction) concept.
