On the Use of Non Thermal Plasma in the Activation of Heterogeneously Catalysed Reaction

An atmospheric pressure non-thermal plasma system was developed to assist the low temperature HC-SCR activity of an Ag/Al₂O₃ catalyst. The plasma-catalyst system showed the lowest temperature activity of any reported, to date by a significant margin and reduced the energy required by a factor of 5 for the same conversion.
