Ni/Mg/Al hydrotalcite-like compounds were tested as catalyst precursors for the steam reforming of liquefied petroleum gas. The catalyst derived from Ni0.74Mg2.26Al presented stable HC conversion and a dry basis H2 molar fraction around 70% during the 24 hours reaction period.
