Ballroom B (Lawrence Convention Center)
Selective reduction of CO2 to CO on silver electrodes was significantly enhanced at low overpotentials by a simple anodization treatment. Activity and structure characterization indicate a change of active site chemistry. Further illucidation of the mechanism may lead to a new frontier for electrocatalytic CO2 reduction.
