Hydrocarbon Blend-Stock from Catalytic Conversion of Alcohols

Low-temperature and atmospheric pressure direct conversion of biomass derived alcohols to hydrocarbon blend-stocks enables overcoming the ethanol blend-wall leading to increased use of biofuels. Preliminary results show that green chemicals can be produced employing biomass-derived higher alcohols.
