The development of catalysts that exhibit activity similar to commercial catalysts in glycerol oxidation, even in the absence of noble metals, is a current challenge. Thus, the present work aims to obtain catalysts based on non-noble metals (Cu or Ni) which could be active in glycerol oxidation.
