Synthesis of Cu and Ni Nanoparticles Supported on Oxidized Carbons As Potential Catalysts for Glycerol Oxidation

The development of catalysts that exhibit activity similar to commercial catalysts in glycerol oxidation, even in the absence of noble metals, is a current challenge. Thus, the present work aims to obtain catalysts based on non-noble metals (Cu or Ni) which could be active in glycerol oxidation.
