LaNiO3/CeSiO2 is a promising catalyst for H2 production from biogas. The deposition of LaNiO3 over a high surface area ceria inhibited carbon deposition by promoting Ni dispersion as well as providing oxygen to the metallic surface, which prevents carbon accumulation.
