P-Tu-B-120 Alternative Route for the Synthesis of High-Surface-Area Al2O3/Nb2O5 Catalyst from Aluminum Waste

Ecomaterials can minimize adverse effects on the environment, while maintaining an acceptable performance at a competitive price. Thus, this work describes an alternative route for the production of a high-surface-area Al2O3/Nb2O5 catalyst synthesized from aluminum waste and niobium ammonium oxalate. The material was evaluated in the glycerol dehydration reaction.
