The developed perovskite, La0.9Sr0.1Co0.5Fe0.5O3 shows potential as an effective soot combustion catalyst for use in the passive self-regenerative catalytic diesel particulate filter because of its low cost, high thermal stability and effectiveness within the exhaust emission temperature range of 150-450 oC.
