Effect of Pore Size Distribution on the Performance of Silver Catalysts

Pore size distribution of alumina carriers played an important role on the performance of silver catalysts. In this work, some carriers were prepared by a process comprising the use of trihydrated alumina components with a bimodal particle size distribution, which would make the selectivity and activity to achieve a balance.
