P-Mo-B-105 Preferential CO Oxidation in a Hydrogen-Rich Stream over Co3O4-Fe2O3, Au/NiO-Fe2O3 and Au/Mn2O3-Fe2O3: A Comparitive Study

Co-Fe mixed metal oxide and gold supported on NiO-Fe2O3 and Mn2O3-Fe2O3 are compared for the CO-PROX reaction. Gold catalyst exhibited better activity at lower temperatures than Co-Fe mixed oxides. Gold catalysts were more stable in the presence of both water and carbon dioxide whereas CO-Fe oxide catalyst deactivated.
