Kinetic Analysis of Electrochemical Oxygen Reduction and Development of Novel Catalysts for Low Temperature Fuel Cells

We will discuss the kinetic analysis of rate data and DFT calculations used to develop an elementary step mechanims for ORR on Pt and Ag. This analysis was used to unearth critical descriptors of catalytic performance. Ultimatelly, we used these descriptors to indetify novel and improved alloy catalysts for ORR.
