Organic Ligand Tunability of Catalysis By 1 Nm Au-Clusters

Recently we published synthesis undeca-Au clusters with average particle sizes from 1.2 to 1.6 nm. Accessibilty testing with probe molecules showed that these clusters exhibit "open sites" for coordination of small molecules. We will report on some of these clusters in different catalytic applications.
