Novel composites containing TiO2-x nanoparticles fully decorated on two-dimensional hydrogenated graphene sheets effectively enhance the photocatalytic H2 and O2 evolution without the usage of noble metal co-catalyst. The morphology, bulk/atomic structure and electronic properties were studied by STEM, time-resolved and ex situ synchrotron XRD/PDF, XPS, NEXAFS, UV-Vis-DRS, and Raman.
