O-Tu-A-10 The Effect of Type of Metal on Reaction Mechanism of Hdo of Phenol over Zirconia Supported Catalysts

The study showed that the product distribution of HDO of phenol were remarkably different depending on the metal. The differences were attributed to the stabilization of the intermediate on the metal-support interface in the proposed mechanism. The understanding of the mechanism is fundamental for the design of an optimal catalyst.
