Heterogeneously Catalyzed Isomerization and Amination of Isohexides

The scope of this work is the catalytic production of biogenic monomers based on isohexides. For the first time the heterogeneously catalyzed amination of isohexides is reported. Detailed investigations on the amination as well as on the isomerization enable future process development of these building blocks from renewable resources.
