Methane dehydroaromatization(DHA) is a potential pathway to directly convert methane into valuable benzene. Our results show that Fe-ZSM5 catalysts are promising for this reaction, and that selectivity of this catalyst for DHA is strongly determined by the Fe dispersion. Improvement in monatomic dispersion of the catalyst is expected to yield further increase in benzene yield.
