O-Tu-403-1 Improvement of Catalytic Activity in the MTO Reaction By Control of Location of Al Atoms in the Pores of ZSM-5

ZSM-5 catalysts were synthesized by using tetrapropylammonium (TPA) cations with and without Na cations. The Al atoms in the ZSM-5 prepared by using only TPA collected at the pore intersections.  The ZSM-5 catalyst synthesized with TPA and Na cations exhibited a longer catalytic life than that without Na cation.
