Development of Spinel Mixed Metal Oxide with Enhanced Oxygen Storage Capacity for Zero-PGM Three Way Catalyst

Spinel mixed-metal oxides have been developed for broad functionality in Three Way Catalyst, having enhanced Oxygen Storage Capacity which can be used as an OSM that are free of Rare-Earth metals. Disclosed results give strong indications of progress toward a Rare-Earth and PGM-free Three-Way Catalyst and a synergized low-PGM product.
