A new NaOH/2-propanol/methanol/water system over Pd and Rh catalysts for degrading high concentrations of TCE (4.9 %mol) was evaluated. A 85% of TCE conversions were achieved by the use of a bimetalic PdRh/CeO2 catalyst and in-situ generated hydrogen after 1 h reaction under mild reaction conditions.
