Some Phenomena of WO3/SiO2 Catalyst for the Metathesis of 2-Butene and Ethylene

The WO₃/SiO₂ catalyst has now become one of the most commonly used for propylene production from the metathesis reaction. The catalyst activity depends on many parameters; dispersion and acidity are the most crucial parameters. Thus, this work is focusing how to improve the WO₃/SiO₂ catalyst for yielding the highest propylene.
